Listed a one of the top 99 things to do before you die by Discovery Channel we can now cross it off our list.
We walked to the top of Blarney Castle to kiss the stone – those who kiss the stone become blessed with the “Irish gift of the gab”.
Apparently the people back then were really small in size, 5 Feet tall. So it was really hard for even me to walk through the Castle. These are the spiral step that we walked up to reach the top.
This is the video we took as we got to the top, while we were waiting in line to kiss the stone.
We both kissed the stone (and i think we both wet our pants 🙂 It was a long way down to fall…
It was a very exciting experience. This was the look of satisfaction on our face at the end. Check out the beautiful view behind us.
