So it has been 9 long (but wonderful) years together and here we are… finally on our honeymoon as Mr & Mrs.
First stop is Kuala Lumpur.
To be honest, we are both buggered. We have been working and wedding planning around the clock for quite a while now and the lack of sleep is certainly starting to show in the dark bags below our eyes. Lucky enough we both have magical eye cream with us in our carry-on flight bags. Hopefully the eye cream coupled with lots of coffee will keep us awake for just a little longer!
Our plane borded late Monday night and arrived in Kuala Lumpur (KL) bright and early at 6am Tuesday morning. After getting lost in the massive KL International Airport and debating wheather or not it was worth paying a small fortune to have a shower in the posh lounge area, we decided to do a bit of sight seeing. We hoped on the KLIA Express Train and headed for Central Station. This is where we decided to go with the ‘hop on, hop off’ bus that would take us to all the major sites. We skipped most of the boring, time consuming and expensive stops musueams, parks and other touristie stops and went straight to food, shopping and the famous Twin Towers.
Here are some of the pics we took when walking through a food market. Many of the fruits and local foods looked very colourful and different to what we are used to. I just had to take some picks… and of course Nektarios just had to try almost everything 🙂 Stay tuned for video footage…
