It was a special weekend for us…
While everyone back home was celebrating Paniyiri, Nektarios and I were celebrating our six years together. We spent the weekend in Paris (yes Paris France) and we had an amazing time.
The Eurostar only took about two and a half hours to get to Paris and we only had about 20 hours in the beautiful city before we were booked to travel back to London. So we tried our best to fit everything in. We managed to get to all the touristy stuff including the Notre Damm, the Mona Lisa at the Louve, Arc de Trion, a walk through the food markets, a ride on the carrousel, and an espresso in a cafe. Did I mention the Effile Tower?
We stayed at the Hilton Paris and it was sooooo close to the Effile Tower that you could almost reach out and touch it. Amazing!! We went up when it was still day light but stayed until we were kicked off, very last thing at night. The view from the top was just beautiful, especially at night.
There is just so much i could say about Paris, but i think i would be here all day. I will leave it for another day….
