Link to The Man in Seat 61
Our travel guide, The Lonely Planet’s Europe on a Shoestring, recommended the website “The Man in Seat 61” for train travel information.
Yes it has a lot of information but nothing is really specific. His point is that you can’t just have one right answer to your travels because everyone wants to do different things. So there is no one best way.
This got me thinking about our best way… apparently train is not always the cheapest way to travel, and getting a Euro pass is not always cheaper either. It depends on where you are going.
I am going to start researching the price points for our travel destinations and decide whether it is better to travel by train, or fly by plane or travel by ferry.
Then we can decide what Euro Pass to buy.
